In the Ground what happens

A cutting is planted on the terraced hillside at Taray, and you can give it a name. We plant every cactus with prayers for the future.

A cutting goes in small. Growing one takes years, and the garden is planted for the years to come.

The names stick. There is a Huachuma at Taray called Larry and one called Hamid.

The Painted Stones already adopted

Ayni, Kukuli and Nala, on the hillside at Taray. The stones began with the people who came to plant, naming their cactus and setting a painted rock beside it.
